Making Paper Cups

This Week on Tuesday in Extension we made Paper Cups for some fun, and to learn about the art of folding paper. At the end I lernt how to make a paper cup off by-heart... making it wasn't really hard to figure out by i got some help.

I created this out of paper,scissors and my brain skills!!!

Anzac Writing And picture

During the holidays on a friday my family and I got three free tickets to Rainbow’s End. My Mum, my Dad, my Sister and I went.

I woke up with excitement and jumped out of my bed. I rushed breakfast, brushing my teeth,and so forth I stopped and watched pair of kings.

Once we arrived there was a really huge and long line. But what do you expect when you go to Rainbow’s End. Our first ride we went on that was obvious for our family and that was the dodgems. I jammed my sister. But my Mum jammed me very well. Because she squashed me in the corner and I couldn’t get out..

Next my Mum and I went on the Fearfall. There wasn’t a very long line. Maybe because people are scared of the ride??? I don’t know!!! Were in the ride, we go straight up and I started to hear a tick and I counted “one, two aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh “ we  went down and my mum screamed her head off!!!

It finally came to the end and we stayed there for the whole time!!! 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. My favourite ride for me was the... FEARFALL because that was the first time i’ve been on that ride. Plus my mum has the loudest scream EVER!!!

ANZAC

Anzac day is an annual event for New Zealand and Australia. Because it represents the soldiers who fought in WW1 (World War 1). 16 million soldiers DIED! and 21 million soldiers were wounded...

 So most soldiers that would live and if they were wounded, the healthiest would carry the other on his shoulder and probably go to safety.


 So every 25 of April we can wake up at (the earliest) 6:00 am and go down to the Auckland Museum. Or you can wear a poppy and go down there.


My great granddad is one of the soldiers who fought in world war 1 for England.

frogs eat insects and anything that had meat in it because their carnivores	in the winter mostly,and under muddy bottoms of lakes.	they get breaded into swarn and then eggs and then a tadpole. After that they become tadpoles with legs and then a froglet. A 12 to 16 weeks later they become adult frogs...	their enemies  are snakes,lizards and small creatures like hedgehogs...

Frogs are amphibians. What's that??? An amphibian is a creature that can live in either water or land and also cold-blooded.

That is what a frog is. Did you know that the adult frog can leap or jump twenty times its length!!! Just imagine the tallest person in your family and they can jump 20 lengths of their height.

Frogs usually live for around 10 to 15 years until they either get eaten by predators or die.Frog’s main predators are birds, reptiles and snakes but there's more...  do you know how frogs get away??? frogs get away by their legs. Their muscular legs are really fast when they move.

Frogs hibernate under very muddy bottoms of lakes,rivers and seas. They hibernate around winter and the month october.

Frogs change colors by daylight maybe even the mood. The only frog i've seen change color is turquoise.

Frogs are very delighted to me personally and I will not kill them.
